2022 WHS Spring Crew Fees
The Wakefield Crew dues cover the full annual operating costs for winter training and spring rowing. This includes: coaching, boathouse storage fees, maintenance, regattas entry fees, insurance, and accounting costs. Arlington Public Schools only provides enough funding for about 20% of Wakefield Crew’s operating expenses.

Crew is expensive relative to other high school sports, and we never want cost to be a barrier to participation. The team offers:
A Formal Scholarship Program – Please see the fee chart above. Please let a coach or a member of the Board know if your athlete qualifies for a scholarship before the spring season begins in February.
Payment Plans – Dues are due in full at the start of the season. Contact the Treasurer if you would like to consider a payment plan option.
If you need financial assistance but do not qualify through the formal scholarship program, please speak with the Wakefield Crew Boosters President or Treasurer to explore options.
Additional costs will apply for uniforms for returning rowers (or first year rowers who skip their novice year) and for travel regattas at the end of season (Stotesbury and SRAA Nationals). Details for ordering uniforms will be shared with the team when they become available.
